Going to WDW at the end of October this year. Trying to find out how I am going to get into Be Our Guest for lunch. I've searched reservations everyday since booking and no luck. Do you absolutely have to have reservations for lunch there?

Hi Melana! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love that we get to help guests just like you! I absolutely love your name, it is beautiful!

I feel your pain trying to get a lunch reservation for Be Our Guest Restaurant without any luck. I love the atmosphere in there and the food has always been delicious.

I will say that reservations are HIGHLY recommended, and because it is such a popular place to eat they do tend to fill up quickly. I have had two different experiences when I walked up to the podium for lunch without a reservation. One time, it actually worked! I gave them my best Gaston smirk and maybe that’s what got me a table. On my last visit, I was unable to get a reservation and when I approached the podium, they told me that they had no availability for the entire day. They did encourage me to check back later but I wasn’t able to get in.

I would recommend that you continue to check for a reservation daily and even more often if you have time. If you are still unable to get a reservation, I would make sure to approach the reservation station early maybe even before lunch seating begins. I think the earlier you arrive, the better shot you have at getting a table.

I do hope you are able to “Be Our Guest.” Have a magical time!
