Hi going to WDW at the end of august. The last time we went was 2008. My daughter was only 15months old. Now my son will be 10 and my daughter 7. I would like to know are Anna and Elsa at any of the character dining? What can make it special for both

    Hi Dawn!

I bet you are thrilled to be planning your next magical adventure!  So much has changed since your last visit, including the age of your kids!  I love vacationing with my children at every each age, but my oldest is almost 10 now, and it has been fun to watch his excitement and interest transition to new experiences. Walt Disney World really has something (or many things) for everyone and your family is going to have such an incredible time.

At this time, Anna and Elsa are greeting guests in the Magic Kingdom, but have not been added to any of the character dining experiences.  If meeting them is a top priority, I suggest using one of your FastPass+ selections, if available, as they are quite the popular pair and lines can get rather long. A special experience I think both of your children might enjoy is the Pirates League, also located in the Magic Kingdom.  The First Mate, Empress or Mermaid packages all offer additional excitement for boy and girl (and even adult) adventurers looking to have a little pirate fun.

If you plan on visiting the water parks, Typhoon Lagoon offers an experience my son loves and one your whole family can enjoy together at Shark Reef.  Here you can experience snorkeling with tropical fish, stingrays and even sharks!

Whatever you choose to do, your vacation will be magical.  If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know. Until then, have a wonderful time planning and enjoy your trip!

    Magical Wishes,

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family: graduations, pregnancies, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, reunions, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon. I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help add a little extra Pixie Dust to your next magical adventure. Learn More About Lauren
