Will be @ WDW for Easter 2014. Would like a nice place (not fancy though) for dinner. It will be myself, husband and 8 year daughter. Prefer a non-character meal. Any suggestions?

    Hi Sandra,

I also often travel with my husband and my 8-year-old daughter. We enjoy a good meal out at Walt Disney World. There are so many options - let me give you three to think about.

First, consider the Grand Floridian Cafe, located in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. It has a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere, and the food is delicious. Another lovely option is Chefs de France. This restaurant is located in Epcot, so you would need theme park admission for the day to go there. It is a classic French brasserie, serving wonderful French cuisine, and is elegant yet casual. Finally, if you all have more adventurous palates, try Sanaa. Located at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, Sanaa offers African and Indian-inspired fare. It also offers an amazing view as you overlook a savanna where you might catch a glimpse of a zebra or giraffe roaming while you dine.

All of the links that I provided above include a photo of the interior of the restaurant, so that you can gauge the atmosphere, as well as a link to the menu so that you can consider if the food there is right for your family. As soon as you have decided, I suggest that you book your Easter meal either by calling 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463) or by visiting Disney Dining Online. Since Easter is on April 20, 2014, we are now within the 180-day window to make reservations for that day. I hope that these ideas help you as you plan your Easter meal, Sandra!
