We'll be at WDW during Star Wars Weekend, May 23rd-25th. Where is a good place from which to watch Symphony in the Stars?

    Hi Kathy ~

I am super excited about Star Wars Weekends (SWW) especially with all of the new experiences they have planned this year!

I would suggest viewing Symphony in the Stars along Hollywood Blvd. The fireworks will appear over the Sorcerer Hat. If you stand too close to the special event stage in front of the Sorcerer Hat, you will not get the best view of the fireworks. If you have ever been in Disney's Hollywood Studios for the fireworks on New Year's Eve, that will give you an idea of viewing.

The Disney Parks Blog just announced an exciting VIP Dining opportunity for SWW. The Feel the Force Premium Package includes a reserved viewing area for the Legends of the Force: Star Wars Celebrity Motorcade and the Symphony in the Stars fireworks. The motorcade viewing area includes beverages and snacks and the viewing area for Symphony in the Stars features a Star Wars-themed dessert party.

Reservations for the Feel the Force Premium Package are limited. You can make reservations by clicking on the link shown above (you will need to select Min and Bill's Dockside Diner as the restaurant) or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

If you don't make reservations for the Feel the Force Premium Package, I would plan to scope out a spot early for Symphony in the Stars so plan ahead for a bit of a wait.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

May the Force Be With You :-) Allison V.
