Hi Moms! We're at WDW 7/26/14 and have the deluxe dining plan, is it permitted to get your dessert to go or get doggie bags if you're returning to your resort following your meal? It looks like a lot of food to eat all at once! I love this panel!

    Hi, Janice!

This is a great question, and it's something my family has experience with for several years now.

We often ask for our Dining Plan desserts to go, for very many reasons. I have yet to visit a WDW restaurant that can't accommodate a dessert to-go request, so I'm sure you'll have no problem doing this either. Of course, certain items such as a scoop of ice cream on top of a slice of cake may need to be withheld, but many of your dessert options can easily be placed into a container so that you can enjoy the item at a later time. (In fact, this is such a habit of ours, we often have several desserts to choose from back in our fridge at the resort, making a post-afternoon swim snack a real treat!)

Send more questions as you think of them, Janice; we love to help!
