    We are going to be at wdw Dec 4th to 9th and was wondering what time do they start taping the parade, and do you have to have a special pass , we do have the magic+ bands.

    Howdy Linda!  I am so excited for you!  You will be at Walt Disney World during one of my favorite times of year!

    We have been at Walt Disney World during the parade taping the last two years.  You do not need a special pass in order to participate in the taping.  You will need theme park admission but based on your Magic Band comment, I'm sure you already know that.

    I don't know who all will be in your party but we were there with young children (6 and 3) last year.  There is a lot of standing and waiting due to the nature of taping a live performance.  We didn't stay too long because the kiddos were ready to move on after a few minutes.  But we (my hubby and I) enjoyed every minute that we were there! 

    I just confirmed with a Cast Member that currently the parade taping times have not yet been officially published.  So - stay tuned for the times but start practicing your best smile and wave now!!
