Hi! We will be in WDW in December and I have a 1, 2, and 12 year old. We don't have the dining plan, but made a few good character dining reservations. My question is, can my 1 and 2 year old eat off our plates for free?

Hi, Melissa!   Children under the age of 3 are welcome to share from your plate at no additional charge.   This works great at buffets!   If you find you want to purchase a child's meal for your little ones at a quick service or table service restaurant, you will have to pay for that.   (They are welcome to share off your plate at ANY meal, but it works best at buffets due to the selection.   Sometimes at counter service or when you are ordering off a menu, it is easier to just get them their own plate of "kid food!")

Congratulations on booking your dining reservations!  After longs days in the parks, it is nice to have a table waiting for you when it is time to eat!   Have a great vacation.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
