We are going to WDW on December 17 2011 and will be there until December 23 i was wondering how busy is it and what the weather tends to be like. We went @ years ago in March and it was nice and not to busy. thanks.

    Hi Jennifer!
I think you have picked a pretty good time to go to Walt Disney World! The holiday decorations will be up in full force, the holiday crowds will only just be starting, and the weather, although unpredicatable at this time of year, can still be pretty nice on most days.
The weeks between Thanksgiving weekend and Christmas are some of the slowest of the entire year with respect to crowd levels. You may see a slight increas as you get closer to the end of your stay as that is when the Christmas crowd may begin moving in. As for weather, I have been to WDW during this time, and have experienced a cool, rainy 50 degree day, followed by a downright chilly 39 degree morning that turned into a glorious 78 degree day!! The point is, the weather is going to be somewhat varied, so you will need to pack a little bit of everything (shorts, t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, and maybe even mittens for some evenings).
So, to summarize, I think you will be happy with the crowd levels and the weather, overall, should be very comfortable.
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical (and Merry) vacation!! :)
