    We are going to WDW in December 2012. It will be our first trip, We have 9 year old and a 3 year old. What would be the best value resort to stay? And should I bring a stroller for my 3 year old? I heard there is quite a bit of walking to do.

    I'm so excited for you and your family! There is something extra magical about a first visit to Walt Disney World.

    As far as value resorts go, I really like Pop Century.  The decor is whimsical and nostalgic, and it's just plain fun.  Keep in mind the resort is HUGE, so there will be quite a bit of walking within the resort, itself.  I think a stroller is a must-bring item.  Even children who balk at the idea of a stroller will gladly sit in one when they see just how far their little legs have to go.
