Going to WDW in December with dining plan and kids age 2, 5, 5 & 6. Can't decide between Boma and Sanaa. We want a dining EXPERIENCE but have picky eaters. Thanks!

    Hi Amie!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

I have been trying to make a dining decision myself, between all the restaurants at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort.  My family would love to try Boma-Flavors of Africa, or Jiko - The Cooking Place or Sanaa, but I cannot eat any spicy food.

I have been advised that Boma is probably the best choice, as it is a buffet with a lot of varied food, and plenty of that is served quite plain.  Alternatively, you can always request that your food is prepared in a particular way, at the other restaurants.

A very good website that I always refer to, is, which has listings of most of the restaurant menus throughout Walt Disney World Resort, so you can check those, and see which dining option would be the most appropriate for your family.

If you have any other dining questions, or other planning questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
