Hi, Shannon!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The
holiday season is one of my favorite times to visit the Walt Disney World Resort.  Nothing puts me in the holiday spirit quite like seeing
Cinderella Castle transformed into a glittering ice palace during
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  I also love attending a beautifully moving performance of the
Candlelight Processional at
Epcot.
Last year, I visited the Walt Disney World Resort the week after Thanksgiving.  In addition to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, I do remember that there were also some
Disney After Hours events held at
Magic Kingdom Park during that week.  Disney After Hours events have become very popular.  Who wouldn't love to experience some of their favorite
attractions with little-to-no wait time?  Currently, Disney After Hours dates are listed through the early fall, and these event schedules tend to be released only a few months in advance.  I would suggest you keep checking the
Walt Disney World website to see if additional dates are added for the holiday season.  The
Disney Parks Blog is also a great source of information regarding Walt Disney World Resort events.
Wishing you a magical holiday vacation!
Samantha
