Hi Brittany,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I just saw Mickey and Minnie Mouse break out into a collective happy dance when they learned that this is your daughters' first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
My family loves the character meals at the Walt Disney World Resort! With
Cinderella's Royal Table, you will dine like royalty in the castle. At
Chef MIckey's, you can hug Mickey Mouse and friends. To dine in the castle at
Be Our Guest is splendid and
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is lovely as well. They are all wonderful experiences. Remember, however, the Beast only makes an appearance at dinner at Be Our Guest. My family prefers dinner at most venues but generally does breakfast at Chef Mickey's.
Although the pace of meal service can vary, we generally allow two hours for dinner. We make our dinner reservations for 6:00 or 6:30 p.m. If we do breakfast at a restaurant in the parks, we try to book a pre-park opening dining reservation. We love to get into the parks before the crowds descend. To do so at Magic Kingdom, remember that guests can enter one hour prior to park opening to enjoy the shops on Main Street before the Let the Magic Begin Show.
Cinderella's Royal Table and Chef Mickey's are must-do dining experiences. I also suggest The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom for breakfast and 1900 Park Fare for Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner.
Remember that princesses dress like royalty. Have a magical time on your first visit with your princesses!
