April from CA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We will be at WDW in Dec. 2018. The stay is split between between Tree houses and Kidani. When making fast pass reservations, can I make reservations for my whole stay (Tree houses/Kidani), or will the system see the two hotels as separate vacations?

Hi April, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great planning question.

I am so excited to hear that you are planning a split stay at two great Disney Resort Hotels, You are going to be able to enjoy double the magic during your trip. When it comes time to make your FastPass+ selections, there are a few things to keep in mind when you have a split stay. You will be able to make FastPass+ selections for your entire stay as long as your theme park admission tickets cover the duration of both stays.

For example, if you are staying at a Treehouse Villa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa for 4 days and then at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas in Kidani Village for 3 days, as long as your theme park admission tickets are for 7 days you can make your FastPass+ selections for your entire stay. Also, if you are a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, you can make all of your selections for the entire trip.

Unfortunately, if one of your stays is part of a package deal that includes admission tickets, each reservation will have its own 60 day FastPass+ window. Remember to have your theme park admission tickets linked to your My Disney Experience account before your selection day. Also make note that your window will open at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Good luck with your planning and if you have any more questions, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
