Going to WDW Dec into Jan. 2014. Taking two adults and 3 and 6 year old girls. My 6 year old has been once. We did alot of parade and character greetings. Looking for more to do. they don't really do rides yet. What other experiences do you recommend.

    Hi there Heather,

There is a multitude of activities for children at Walt Disney World that do not necessarily involve rides!  Have you considered adding a character dining experience to your vacation!?  Or perhaps a visit to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique where your little girls can be magically transformed into Fairy Tale princesses with a pixie dusted makeover!

You'll definitely want to check out the KidCot stations located in each international pavilion at Epcot where the little musketeers can make a craft to be stamped like a passport at each country you visit!

There are several children's interactive play areas which are sure to keep the little ones busy!  My favorites are the Bone Yard at Animal Kingdom and the all new Casey Junior Water Play area in New Fantasyland!

Looking for fun outside of the parks, you can always head to one of Disney World's awesome miniature golf courses or grab your swimsuits and get ready for a day at one of two fabulous water parks!

Be sure to check out the free campfire singalong and movie at Fort Wilderness Resort featuring Chip and Dale!  You can even roast marshmallows over an open flame!

I could go on and on but am limited by word count here!  Please feel free to write back with any additional questions!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
