We'll be in WDW from Dec 31-Jan 3 and planning to spend one day in each park. We've got a rental and wanted to know more details about parking. Is there a dedicated parking lot for each park or is it a common area?

    Roehl:

Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel!

There is a dedicated parking lot for each of the four theme parks, the two water parks and Downtown Disney.  Although the parking lots are vast, there is always a tram you can catch if you find yourself getting one of the slots at the end of a row or if you don't get to the parks first thing in the morning.

Magic Kingdom's parking lot, however, is different from the other theme parks.  You'll typically hear its lot called the Ticket & Transportation Center.  Once you park your car, you'll either have to take the monorail or the ferry to the entrance of Magic Kingdom.  There's no park/walk option from its lot.

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
