I will be At WDW dec 26-Jan 2. I have a breakfast table reserved at be our guest. What are the chances of being able to do a walk in for dinner. I have read several places that you can easily get walk ins. But not sure how easy this will During a peak week

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Julie!

Thanks for bringing us this question about one of my favorite dining spots in Magic Kingdom Park: Be Our Guest Restaurant!

Although there's a slight possibility of a same-day cancellation at Be Our Guest Restaurant for dinner, reservations are highly recommended. Because you are visiting during a peak week, I would not count on being able to walk in for dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant. That said, I do have some tips that might help you secure that hard-to-get reservation in advance of your trip. In addition to checking online daily, I've had good luck when calling Disney Dining Reservations. The Cast Members have the ability to search multiple days at a time. Additionally, I have had the most success in finding a cancellation a day or two before our trip. Guests tend to finalize their plans as their vacation approaches, so you'll have the best chance of securing a reservation a day or two ahead of your vacation.

I do have another suggestion if you're not able to secure a dinner reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant. We have had good luck getting a walk-in dining reservation at Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen, even during busy vacation time periods. We've had the most luck with walk-in reservations when we go on the early side (around 5:00 p.m.).

I hope this helps with your planning, Julie! Please stop back again soon with any additional questions. Wishing you magical memories!
