We are going to WDW in Dec with family & a /7 yr grandson, trying to decide which restaurant to try to get a reservation at for the Fantastmic dinner show, any suggeestion between Mama Melrose's Ristorante , Brown Derby or, Hollywood & Vine? thank

    Hi, Regina!

You are going to love the Fantasmic! Meal Package with its great restaurant choices and VIP seating!

While all 3 choices are great, I would opt for Hollywood & Vine.  With having a 7 year old in your party, I like that Hollywood & Vine is a buffet, so little to no wait for your food (more time to play in the park!) and also there is such a huge selection!  There is something for everyone on this extensive buffet.

My second choice would be Mama Melrose's with their menu full of delicious Italian dishes!   My third choice would be Brown Derby, only because I think your grandson would enjoy the food selection better at the other restaurants.  Brown Derby is a bit more upscale, and might not have as many of his favorites.

Whatever you choose, have a great time at Fantasmic!  What a great way to end a fun day at Hollywood Studios!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
