    going to WDW Dec 2012.Debating on finding a hotel in WDW for 12/19-12/22.Have condo week of Christmas then going on cruise ovr. NY.Looking @ cost savings, & haven't seen specials for that week,when will they announce them? 4 adults,2 kids, 6 & 7 yr

    Hi Skye!

    That is a busy time of the year for Walt Disney World.  A lot of times, Disney doesn't offer discounts during the busiest times of the year because Disney really releases discounts in an attempt to increase the occupancy rates at Disney owned and operated hotels and to increase the attendance at the theme parks.  However, that doesn't mean there won't be one this year.

    To get a good feel of what kind of discount Disney has released and when, I suggest visiting the independent website MouseSavers.com.  At Mouse Savers, you will find a historical database of Walt Disney World Resort discounts over the years.  While you are on that site, be sure to look at other money saving tips for a Disney vacation!
