    We'll be at WDW in Dec. for my daughter's 3rd. I thought I was ahead of the game when I tried to book Chef Mickey's in Sep., but everything was already booked! Are there usually cancellations? Any suggestions?

    Hello and welcome to the Moms Panel!

    I would highly recommend that you continue calling daily up until the day you leave.  I would also jump on the Walt Disney World Resort web page and check daily.  If you have no luck with this, I would suggest popping in at Chef Mickey's.  Since this restaurant does not charge a "no-show" fee, people are less likely to call in and cancel even when they know they will not make their reservation.  It may just be your lucky day!  This has worked for my family in the past.  Oh, I would put on a sad face and explain that your daughter would love this for her 3rd birthday.
