We'll be at WDW for my DD's 6th b-day on July 7th. She has a whole day planned at BBB and Chef Mickey's for dinner. Should she change out of her princess dress for dinner or not? She's worried about looking out of place. Thanks! 12 days!!!

    Hi, Rebecca!

Formal Princess attire is acceptable anywhere in Walt Disney World!  You will find that our little royal ladies will wear their princess dresses everywhere!   However, I know when my daughter was little, she liked her pretty dresses for just a while, then wanted to jump back into her cozy shorts and T-shirt or a sundress, so make sure to carry an extra set of clothes.  The most important thing is that your daughter is comfortable, and in the hot Florida sun, the princess dresses get a bit hot so be ready with that change of clothes.

Chef Mickey's sounds like a great way to celebrate a birthday!  Make sure to bring an autograph book and a camera to capture all the magic.  Have a super princess-filled, magical birthday in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
