We are going to WDW 10/23-10/28 and are on the DDP. We have a 4 yo and a 2 1/2 yo. We were not able to buy the dining plan for the 2 yo. Do we have to pay for the 2yo at buffets or just buy her drinks? When do we tell the server we are on the DDP?

    Hi Katie!

Great question!  As your little princess is not yet a paying guest, you are correct that you will not be able to purchase the dining plan for her.  However, she can "eat off of your plate" at all sit down restaurants.  Don't worry though, you server will gladly bring her a plate of her very own and will not have to literally eat off of yours!  She will need to purchase a drink at these meals, but other than that, she will be FREE!  Of course, if you order something specifically for her, you would need to pay for it.

When you are seated, one of the first questions that your server will ask is if you are on the Dining Plan.  If he/she doesn't ask right away, just mention  it when you get a chance.  Have a fantastic (and delicious) vacation!
