Hi! WDW 5/28-6/5. Have DDP for 8 nights but 9 ressies. Which one should I pay OOP? Breakfast at Cape May, Ohana. Fantasmic lunch at Mama. Lunch at Tusker House. Dinner at Rainforest, Akershus, 1900 Park Fare, Cape May, and Biergarten. Thanks! Luv the panel

It looks like you have planned a fabulous line-up of dining experiences, Christina.  Congratulations!  Typically, character and fixed price meals (such as 'Ohana) are a bit more costly than standard a la carte restaurants.  For that reason, I would suggest paying out of pocket at Rainforest Cafe, though much of your savings (or lack thereof) would be determined by what you typically order when you eat out.  If it were me, I'd take a look at the menu and get an estimate of what the cost for dinner might be.  From there, you can best decide if you're better off paying out of pocket for dinner at the Rainforest Cafe, or your 'Ohana breakfast.  I would venture to guess that paying out of pocket for one of those two meals would yield you the most savings.  Enjoy!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists.
