Going to WDW 3/13 for my DD senior trip. Bringing friends. There will be six girls ages 13-18. Is there something they can do special since they are too old for BBB? Wanted to surprise them with a treat.

    Hi Kathy,

I travel with teens and tweens to Walt Disney World often and I've found a whole bunch of special activities for this age group.  Have you considered taking your lovely young ladies for a pedicure at the news Senses Spa in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort?  Appointments can be booked by calling (407) WDW-SPAS.

If all of the girls were 16 or older, I would suggest that you sign them up for a Segway tour.  I take the seniors at the high school where I teach on the Around the World at Epcot tour each spring and the kids just LOVE it.  These tours can be booked by calling (407) WDW-TOUR.

The ultimate surprise for a small group, though, is a private fireworks cruise.  These watercraft accommodate from 8-10 guests and provide the best vantage point for watching Wishes in all of Walt Disney World.  The Cast Member who pilots your boat will park it right in front of Cinderella Castle on the Seven Seas Lagoon.  I promise that your girls will never forget that experience.  Boats can be reserved 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-PLAY.

Let us know if you need additional suggestions for making your daughter's senior trip special.  We've got plenty of ideas!

    Best wishes,
    Jill
