    Will be at WDW in 55 days ( but who's counting !) have DDP, but how does it work do you just have to tell your server that you are using the DDP and then they deduct it from your allocation ? Thanks Moms

    HI Barbara!

    You hit it right on the head!  You will be asked when you check in at the podium at the restaurant if you are on a Disney Dining Plan.  Then your server will ask you again when you sit down.  It is very straight forward and you will get the hang of it after a meal or two.
