Going to WDW in 15 days! I understand that tips are no longer included in the DDP. Can you tip using a credit card? We would rather not carry a lot of cash. Thanks!

    Hi Kimberly,

You can certainly pay the gratuity using a credit card or you can have it charged to your "Key to the World Card" (WDW resort room key that can have charging privileges applied).  The suggested gratuity will be calculated for you when you receive your bill after your meal (look at the bottom and there will be a calculation for an 18% tip and a 20% tip).

As far as which dining experiences still include the gratuity please visit the following link for the "Downloadable Dining Plan Brochure for 2008" and you will notice at the top of pages 3 and 4 a purple "G" which indicates certain dining experiences that include your gratuities (so you do not double tip!).  When you see this "G" listed next to a restaurant that means that that your gratuities are included when dining at that particular dining experience.  They are limited, but at least there are still a few of these!  Have a magical day!

    Best wishes,
    Brigitta
