We will be in WDW in 22 days! Our 1st trip. I know we can charge mostly everything back to our room with our Key card. Will the resort take a Disney Gift card as payment or just a standard cc?

    Hi Aimee!

Yes, you can pay for your room charges with using a Disney gift card.  I did this very thing on my April 2011 Walt Disney World vacation and it worked great!  You still will have to place a credit card down on your room to be able to make charges to your room.  I would recommend that you pay the balance of your room charges with your Disney Gift Card every day or two because each Resort has a dollar limit that when reached, it will automatically be charged to the credit card on your room.  Just go to your Resort Guest Relations desk or check in counter and they will be more than happy to take care of this for you.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is filled with magic and memories!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
