WDW in 5days! Staying at AKL w/car, ADR at Crystal Palace at 5PM. Want to take a nap. When should we leave to be sure to make ADR and should we do Disney Trans or take car? You guys are wonderful! I would have been so lost and underprepared w/o you. Thanks

I would take the car if you have it, but mostly for the ease of leaving the park.  Whether you take your car or the WDW buses, you should plan on it taking 45 minutes.

When you take your car, you have to park at the Ticket and Transportation Station and then take a boat or the monorail to the park.  The monorail is always faster unless there are long lines for it.

When you take the WDW bus from the resort, you are dropped off right in front of the Magic Kingdom.  The buses come about every 15 minutes.  If you happen to get right on a bus then it will only take about 20 minutes to get to the entrance of the park and then the 5 minute walk to the restaurant.

Sometimes the lines for the resorts buses can be very long at the end of the night.  That's when we appreciate being able to hope into our own car.

I'm glad you are finding the panel helpful.  Enjoy your trip.

I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008.  As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity.  My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
