Hi Mom's, going to WDW in 6 days. Do you know if CM's film the Jedi Training show? If my child is picked to participate can I purchase a copy? If so what the cost is? I am debating on if I need to take my camcorder or not. Thanks for the great advice!

Wow you must be really excited for your trip! I hope your packing is going well.

As far as I know, the Cast Members do not film the Jedi Training Academy shows.

Take your camcorder. If your child is chosen to apprentice, you’ll want to have the footage as a keepsake. As your child learns light saber techniques and then takes on Darth Vader, it’s truly a memorable moment for all Star Wars fans.

Get there early. Stand in front. Have your child wear some item that the Jedi Master can use to identify him/her. The Jedi Master selects kids by saying things like  “you with the yellow hat” or “you with the red sunglasses”. It does not have to be a Star Wars accessory, however. I told my son to jump up and down and do not give up. We also went to the first show of the day.

I’m sure the Force will be strong with your child, so take your cameras!
