We're glad to see you back here at planDisney, Deborah! As Walt himself once said, "To all who come to this happy place, welcome!"
I'm excited to hear that you'll be staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel soon. Not only is the complimentary transportation convenient, but it's the best way to immerse yourself in the magic! Guests also get extra time in the theme parks daily with the
Early Theme Park Entry perk. If you're an early bird, this is the best way to jump-start your day. I recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before Early Theme Park Entry starts. Being at the front of the crowds means you'll be able to get one or two attractions done before the parks open to day guests!
You've asked a great question. Unfortunately,
Disney Genie+ and
Individual Lightning Lane selections are only available during regular park hours. I also spoke with
Disability Services, and they confirmed that the
Disability Access Service (DAS) program also begins at the official opening time, after Early Theme Park Entry.
Keep in mind that if you pre-register for DAS, you'll be able to make two attraction selections per day using the new DAS Advance Planning option (you may also make additional DAS selections on the day of your visit). You may find that you don't need to buy Genie+, but if you do, you can make your first Genie+ Lightning Lane booking for the day at 7 AM; however, your return time window will be after the park opens.
Throw a portable charger in your park bag since the
My Disney Experience app can drain your battery. I like to use a
FuelRod, readily available for purchase (and swap out) throughout the parks and resorts. If you need any assistance using Genie+ or DAS when you arrive, look for the
Guest Experience Team kiosks under the blue umbrellas.
I hope you have a magical time, Deborah! If you need anything else, the planDisney Panel is all ears!
