Hello, We will be in WDW 1/20/17-1/28/17. What are the crowds like around that time? Are fast passes a must? Do you recommend spending the entire day at the same park or hopping around? We will have my 14 and 8 year old with us and 4 adults.

Welcome Amanda! Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Congratulations on your next Disney vacation!
January is one of my favorite periods to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, especially late January, when Disney Theme Parks tend to be less crowded. You will have a magical experience!
If you are looking for detailed information regarding crowd levels, I suggest you visit touringplans.com or easywdw.com for their crowd calendars. They are very useful and besides crowd information, they suggest the best day to visit each park.
Even vacationing when parks are less busy, I recommend you make your FastPass+ selections in advance. It is a great tool provided by Disney to all guests to better plan their days at Disney Theme Parks. You can save some time you would spend in the regular queue to visit another attractions.
If this is your first Disney vacation, I encourage you to spend the entire day at the same park. You will notice there is a lot to do and see in all of them. Take your time to explore the parks without any rush. You won’t regret. Disney Theme Parks are fantastic and absolutely magical!
Hope this helps your planning. Please, come back to visit us again soon if you have further questions.
    Have a magical day!
