I am going to WDW for this coming Christmas. We are staying in a non-Disney hotel... the week we will be there magic hours happen at Magic Kingdom... Will we even get access to the parks?

Michelle, you will adore Walt Disney World at Christmas! Hundreds of trees, thousands of poinsettias, and zillions of lights adorn the parks and resorts creating an incomparable holiday landscape. At Disney's Grand Floridian Resort you can even walk into a giant, edible gingerbread house.

Absolutely you will be able to enjoy the theme parks during standard operating hours. Almost every day at least one theme park opens the turnstiles early or keeps the lights on late for Extra Magic Hours. These additional hours the parks are open are a perk for guests staying at a Walt Disney resort. Since you are staying at a hotel off WDW property, you will not be able to visit the parks for this bonus time. You will, however, have ample time to fly on elephants, sail with pirates, and zoom down Space Mountain during regular park hours.

    Enjoy your holiday with Mickey!
