Since I have never been to WDW at Christmas, I was wondering if the resorts get decorated for the holidays. Going 11/11-17/12.

    Hi Julia!

Christmas at Walt Disney World is truly one of my favorite things!  The entire Resort takes on a magical, winter wonderland quality with sights and sounds of the season that you just simply cannot imagine!

One of our favorite things to do is to visit each of the Disney Resorts, with our cameras, to take it all in.  You will find huge gingerbread and chocolate creations, such as a life-size carousel and gingerbread house, beautifully decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, and garlands, and twinkling lights galore!  It sounds like Christmas with all of the festive music, and it even SMELLS like Christmas, with the gingerbread and spices and chocolates and ...oh, you get the idea!

They usually begin decorating for Christmas right around the beginning of November, so you should begin to see some of these amazing things while you are there!

I hope you have a magical time during your Walt Disney World visit!
