Hi Laura,
Welcome back to planDisney and thank you for your question! How exciting to hear that you’ll be vacationing at the Walt Disney World Resort during Christmastime, it’s such a magical time of the year!
I completely understand and am happy to say that adjustments to food via
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering is possible. In my experience, I’ve found that many times toppings or condiments can easily be removed from a dish. Sometimes within the
My Disney Experience mobile app when ordering, you’re able to exclude those items (or others) on your food order.
Now, some items might not be fully editable within the app for a quick service restaurant, so it might be easier to go up to a Cast Member and order with them so they can hopefully exclude what the kiddos don’t want. Also keep in mind if you dine at a
table service or other restaurants throughout the Walt Disney World property, you may be able to customize your selections even more!
One final tip: try to do your quick service meals earlier or later in the day. So instead of having lunch at 12:00 p.m., have it at 2:00 p.m. (snacking throughout the day of course). This allows you to (hopefully) stay clear of the lunch rush and can give you a bit more time to have fun within the Theme Park. If your kids like certain snacks, bring them with you. This way they’ll always have something to snack on whether you’re preparing to enter a ride line or waiting for
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade to begin!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you make the final preparations for your vacation. If you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
