    I will be at WDW 12/30 will Christmas decorations still be up at any parks? Any special New Year's Eve or Day celebrations general pass holder can participate in?

    Hi Kimberly!

    Holiday time at the Disney parks is the most wonderful and magical time of the year. Disney starts their Christmas decorations even before Thanksgiving and they will keep the trees up and castle lit until after New Years. If you are arriving on 12/30 you will surely be able to enjoy all of the fun decorations in the resorts and the parks.

    There are a few New Years Celebrations that you might consider. The Contemporary Resort is a hub of activity for this night. Dining is available for special dinners but they do book up quickly. Please understand that the resorts themselves will not have huge celebrations due to the fact that since this is a family destination many guests will not want to stay up for the midnight hour to celebrate. Many guests will be in their rooms hoping to sleep.

    Epcot will be another great place to be with special fireworks and entertainment. Things will constantly change so once you arrive ask your resort concierge for the latest for times of the parks and their festivities. Most of this is done without special reservations.
