    Hi! We will be going to WDW to celebrate my son’s 1st birthday. I can only get dinner reservations for chef mickey’s; is dinner worth it? Or breakfast seems better? Any suggestions for making his bday memorable?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your little Mouseketeer is going to have the best first birthday ever! Celebrating his first birthday at Walt Disney World Resort is going to be so memorable. My family has celebrated many special occasions at Disney and look forward to a lifetime more!

    Mmm, just thinking about all the delicious food at Chef Mickey's has my tummy growling and my mouth watering. In my opinion, eating dinner there would be wonderful and definitely worth it. The Dinner Menu is loaded with fan favorites such as Mickey's Macaroni & Cheese for little ones, Pot Roast, Chili-Cornbread Casserole and Mickey Mousse Domes for dessert. (Please note that menu items are always subject to change.) If your heart was set on starting your day there for breakfast, you can always continue checking back to see if any reservations have opened; Guests' plans change all the time!

    One idea of how you can make your birthday boy's day memorable is by scheduling him a "My First Haircut" package at Harmony Barber Shop in Magic Kingdom Park! He will not only look dapper for his big day, but will also receive a commemorative certificate and Mickey Ears!
