We are going to be in WDW to celebrate a birthday in August. How can we order a special cake to celebrate the event? We are staying at the GF and will be dining at the Garden Grill in Epcot on the actual birthday. Cake would be OK in hotel or dinner.

    Hi Kathryn!

Happy (almost) birthday to whomever the special guest is!  Disney has a "Cake Hotline" (seriously, how cool is that!) where you can work with a "cake specialist" to discuss your preferences and select a cake that is perfect for your celebration.  You should call (407) 827-2253 at least 48 hours before you would like the cake to make your selection.  They create some truly beautiful edible masterpieces that are available in a variety of price ranges.  One of my absolute favorites is the new "My Mini Surprise Cake", which is an adorable personalized cake (that's only about $15!)  Click HERE for a sneak peak.   If you would like something less elaborate, most Disney restaurants have simple cakes that you can order when you arrive to check in at the podium.

    Have a wonderful birthday dinner!
