We will be at WDW 5/20-5/25 and both of our birthdays aren't until Aug/Sept but we are using this vacation as a all for one celebration for Mom/son. Can we still get a birthday button and a custom cake with our birthdays being so far from our actual visit

    Hi Carie:

Happy Birthday.  Walt Disney World is a wonderful place to celebrate a birthday, and the good news is that Disney loves a celebration. The park does not check identification when picking up a birthday button nor when ordering a cake.

To pick up a Birthday button, just check in at City Hall at the Magic Kingdom or at Guest Relations at the other parks. You'll probably notice that wearing the buttons will prompt many Cast Members to go out of their way to greet you with a kind gesture to make your visit more memorable. You can order a custom cake through the cake hotline at 407-827-2253.

Also, think about contacting the Dream Makers at Disney Floral and Gifts online or at (407) WDW-GIFT. If you are staying at a Disney Resort, they can help create a personalized in-room celebration featuring your favorite Disney characters. They can also deliver personalized gift baskets to your Disney resort or to a Disney restaurant where you may be enjoying a celebratory meal. You can also look here for some other ideas on how to create a customized birthday celebration at Walt Disney World.

    Enjoy your special vacation.
