When does WDW begin decorating for Christmas? We are coming November 13th and attending MVMCP. We are hoping to visit various resorts and parks to see all the Christmas decorations, will this be possible?

    Welcome BACK, Christy!

Just like Olaf wanted so badly to experience summer, I think every Walt Disney World Resort fan should visit during the most wonderful time of the year. While November isn't typically cold, you'll be a very happy snow-mouse as you experience Disney World's holiday wonderland. During the time of your visit, Disney's Theme Parks, Resort Hotels and Disney Springs will be finishing up decking their halls, walls, and Epcot International Festival of the Holidays kitchen kiosk stalls. It's actually going to be kind of neat because your family will be able to notice the overnight changes made by Mickey's Elves that weren't there the day before! (Check out this awe-some timelapse video of the five signature trees going up.)

Disney's Hollywood Studios is the first Disney theme park to have holiday decorations up. Elves actually start in the wee hours of November 1st, as soon as they get done trick-or-treating. The rest of the World (well, the Walt Disney World) traditionally starts decorating around November 8 and will continue around the clock. So your visit may not be 100 percent merry and bright, it will be like 64 percent there.

Most Disney Resort Hotels will have started their Holiday Gingerbread Displays by your visit, but double check with Guest Services or your Disney Resort Hotel's Concierge which display is done before you head out.

We'll See You Real Soon, Christy!
