I will be at WDW 11/28-12/4, 2010 with BD on 11/30. I am also celebrating beating breast cancer this year. So I am treating myself on my BD to La Nouba at 9 pm. I have ADR at Rose & Crown at 5 pm. Do I have time to see Illuminations in between?

    Hi Erin,

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS on being cancer free!!!  That alone is reason to celebrate -- then to add a birthday on top of it -- I hope this trip is amazing!!

I just checked the calendar, and Illuminations is scheduled for 9:30 that evening.  Unfortunately that means you won't be able to catch the show AND La Nouba on the same night.  No worries though, you can have a leisurely dinner at Rose & Crown before heading to Downtown Disney.  If you arrive downtown early be sure to browse around in some of the shops - you won't be disappointed.  TrenD is my favorite, but grabbing a treat at Goofy's Candy Co. for dessert might come in a close second.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
