I will be going to WDW in August. I have been looking forward to Toy Story Land opening. Has there been a date announced yet? If it's not open when we go, what else is there to do at Hollywood Studios? Thanks!

    Hi Bonnie!

You've got a friend in me waiting patiently for the opening of Toy Story Land in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Ever since I saw the video of the Slinky Dog Dash Ride Vehicle, I've been so excited! So far no specific date has been set for Toy Story Land, except summer of 2018. With your trip being in August, I imagine you'll be able to experience some of it, but let's just keep our fingers crossed and hope for pixie dust. I suggest keeping an eye out on the Disney Parks Blog for all new announcements.

Just in case it's not opened, you can still get your Toy Story fix on Toy Story Mania! and meet Buzz and Woody at Pixar Place. If you have Star Wars fans, don't miss Star Tours- The Adventures Continue where they have added scenes from Star Wars: The Last Jedi. At Star Wars Launch Bay, meet everyone's favorite wookiee, Chewbacca, and the intimidating Kylo Ren.

Don't worry, your princess lovers are taken care of, too. Watch For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. Not only do you get to see Anna and Elsa on stage, but you can laugh at the hilarious jokes told by the Arendelle historians. Warning: you will be singing Frozen songs all day. Try to 'Let it Go.'

Don't forget about the thrill rides. The Twilight Zone Terror of Terror and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith will leave you screaming with excitement! There's something for everyone.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and have a magical vacation!
