Hey there, Sharon!
Thanks for visiting us at planDisney today, I’ll be more than happy to help answer your question.
I wish there was a magic formula to figure out what the crowds will be like the day of your trip. However, there’s no telling! I have visited different times of the year and each time I find that there are some days where attraction wait times are low, and others where it seems like wait times are a bit longer. My best recommendation would be to focus on your overall plan. That way you can maximize your park time!
Where it is nice to let the magic be your guide, I recommend going in with some sort of game plan. Think about what
time you want to arrive at the park and which attraction you want to head towards first. My number one recommendation is rope-dropping! Rope Dropping is arriving at the theme parks before the official open time. Cast members will “rope off” the pathway to attractions and when the park is finally open, you will be able to head towards the direction of your choosing! You will also want to make sure you download the
My Disney Experience app so that you can check current wait times and showtimes as you are exploring the theme parks.
My family tends to start our mornings off strong by experiencing our favorite attractions first. Things like
Rise of the Resistance in Hollywood Studios or
Frozen Ever After in EPCOT are where you can find us first thing. After a couple of hours of fun, we take a
breakfast or early lunch break, depending on how hungry we are. Once we've been refuled, we're back in action!
Sharon, I wish you the most magical trip and if you need any more planning tips, be sure to come back and
visit us again!
