We are going to WDW and arriving a couple days after my 30th birthday and leaving a couple days before my in-laws 45th anniversary. Are still able to celebrate our special occasions while there? Like at a dinner? We just want it to be special.

    Hi Amanda,

There are so many wonderful ways to celebrate birthdays & anniversaries at WDW! You may enjoy Disney's Spirit of Aloha Show, the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue (HDDR), the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage (P&P) or the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party. They pay special recognition to those celebrating something special so tell them when making reservations.

For an extra special dinner, Victoria & Albert's at the Grand Floridian is amazing! Dinner at California Griill timed to see the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom rocks! When making Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs), be sure to tell mention that you'll be celebrating a 30th birthday & a 45th wedding anniversary.  Let me know if you need other dining suggestions.

You can order a special anniversary cake by calling 407-827-2253.  ADRs are required & cakes must be ordered at least 48 hours prior to your reservation. For a personal touch, contact the Disney Floral & Gifts Dept. They can help with an in-room celebration or a special delivery to a dining location. Visit them online at or call 407-827-3505.

If you want to plan something romantic for your in-laws, book a horse drawn carriage ride at Ft. Wilderness or Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Call 407-WDW-PLAY. Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
