Does WDW do anything for a kid's birthday even if it's the week of their birthday, versus the actual day? Ex: My daughter's birthday is 5/18, but we're there only 5/11 - 5/17. How can we make the week extra special for her?

Birthdays are always special when celebrated at Disney World.  If you want to have a special surprise in your hotel room. is a great place to start, there are all sorts of kids packages from Princess Proclamation, or a Pirates treasure, the quality is just magical.  You could also plan a birthday dinner and have the restaurant prepare a cake to be presented to you daughter.  Chef Mickey's is a character meal, its theme is Celebration, so it will go hand in hand.  My daughter was given her birthday cake from Mickey, himself.  So exciting!!  Good luck!!!
