    Do WDW annual passes start on date of purchase or first date of use? Thanks

    Hi Kent,

    I'm so happy you're considering a Florida Resident Walt Disney World annual pass. You can purchase your pass online in advance and take advantage of the 12-month payment plan for Florida residents, but your pass won't activate until you visit Walt Disney World and use it for the first time.

    On that first visit, you will need to stop by a ticket window or Guest Relations location to show proof of Florida residency and activate your pass. It will take just a few minutes and you'll be on your way to 365 days of Disney fun.

    Make sure, Kent, that you familiarize yourself with all the benefits of being a passholder, including discounts on merchandise, dining and resorts. It's awesome to save money on your Walt Disney World visits.
