We'll be at WDW in 2/13 for our anniv & our son's 7th b-d. He has DS & is on a GF diet. We can't wait to go. Our last trip was pretty exhausting for him. What are the best things to do in Feb so we can enjoy our trip to the fullest w/a limited bud

    Hi Jill,

    I love your name!

You must be so excited about your upcoming trip.  There's no better place to celebrate an anniversary and birthday.

If you didn't already do it on your last trip, I heartily recommend a character dining experience for your family.  Breakfasts are less expensive yet still offer the same quality character interaction so I'd consider booking breakfast at Chef Mickey's or The Crystal Palace.  Advance dining reservations are recommended and can be made by calling (407) WDW-DINE.  Be sure to ask to speak to the chef at any Disney restaurant where you dine.  He or she will be happy to point out which items fit your son's dietary needs.

There are so many wonderful experiences in the theme parks to enjoy with your son.  The New Fantasyland will be in full swing by February (with the exception of the Seven Dwarves Mine Train) so you can take your son "under the sea" with Ariel, high in the air with Dumbo, and into the enchanted forest with Belle.  You'll find attractions throughout the Magic Kingdom that your son will adore.

In Epcot, your son might enjoy the Kidcot Fun Stops.  If it fits within his bedtime schedule, take him to see Illuminations at night.  Disney's Hollywood Studios offers great character meet and greet opportunities.  Additionally, the shows are magnificent.  I don't know too many little boys who don't love to see cars and motorcycles race in Lights! Motors! Action!  The Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular is another "must do" for little guys.  Finally, be sure to enjoy the Kilimanjaro Safaris, Finding Nemo - The Musical, and Festival of the Lion King at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  If he enjoys meeting new four-legged friends, check out the Conservation Station too.

Well, these are just a few ideas to get you started.  Let us know if you need any more information.
