At WDW Animal K, in July2014 with 2 girls 3&4 yrs. Any must do's in the am vs afternoon to avoid the longer lines in heat & MUST fast tracks?? Best advice/ suggestions on attractions for their age & gender. Have booked Tusker H. breakfast chara

    Hi Mary,

I remember taking my daughter to Disney's Animal Kingdom when she was the same age as your daughters, and she absolutely loved it. I am so glad that you have Donald's Dining Safari Breakfast at Tusker House Restaurant booked. It is great that there is both African cuisine and traditional American fare on the buffet. This way, your girls can try some new foods, and if they do not like them, there are likely offerings that they will enjoy on the buffet.

I would suggest that you see Kilimanjaro Safaris. On this attraction, you take a safari vehicle and see many African animals, including possibly lions, zebras, and giraffes! This is an attraction that I would suggest for a little earlier in the day, possibly mid-morning, so that the animals are more active before it gets too hot. This is a good attraction to use FastPass+ for, as it is very popular. Another option for FastPass+, and especially because you are going in July, is Kali River Rapids. This is a raft ride, and you might get wet!  It will help you to cool off in the afternoon. Please note that the height requirement for this ride is 38", so do be sure that your little ones are at least this tall. Your daughters may also love Finding Nemo - The Musical. This larger than life retelling of the Nemo story includes amazing puppets and songs. You can get a FastPass+ for this attraction; however, it is also one that you might not need the FastPass+ for since the theater is very large. When she was in preschool, my daughter loved a trip on the Wildlife Express Train to Rafiki's Planet Watch. There, you will find many animal experiences at Conservation Station. My daughter particularly loved Affection Section, where she could pet animals, including rare domestic breeds. This is an attraction for which you do not need FastPass+.

I would love to help you plan more Mary; however, I am limited in the space that I have to answer. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
