    we will be in WDW 11/30-12/6/11 we have adr on 12/4 at whispirin canyons @5;05 we also have tix for mvmcp that night which starts @7, Will we have time to eat n be at mk by 7?thanks love the panel!!

    Hi Tracie!

    Whispering Canyon Restaurant at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort is one our family favorites!  You all make sure you ask for some extra ketchup and refills on your drinks while there.  The Cast Members love to take care of their guests!

    Now, to answer your question, it all depends upon how quickly you guys can swallow your vittles!  If you will arrive a bit earlier than 5:05, you will stand a better chance of being seated early or right on time.  There is typically a 15 to 20 minute wait, even if you have an ADR, so getting there earlier will keep you on schedule.

    Next, you will need to plan your travel time to the Magic Kingdom.  Your options from the Wilderness Lodge on Disney's Transportation System include the bus and the water taxi.  They run about every 20 minutes.  We have stayed at the WL many times.  While we enjoy the water taxi ride much more, we have found the bus to be a little faster.  However, this will depend upon how long you have to wait to catch it in the first place.  That's just the luck of the draw.  The important thing to realize here is that it could take you a total of 40 minutes (give or take a few) to get to the Magic Kingdom.

    I hope this information helps you plan it out a little better.  I wouldn't try to eat too fast - enjoy your great meal there, and there will still be plenty of time to enjoy Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, even if you aren't there at the very beginning!
