Been to WDW a/b 12 times (am 37)wife and daughter (4)never been. Am planning trip & want to make it special. Have decided on POLY due to loc, trans, beach, and ability to see f-works each night. Getting garden view. which blding best location? floor

    Timothy:

Kudos to you for going out of your way to make this first trip for your wife and daughter so special!

Obviously, the best firework views at the Polynesian come with the Magic Kingdom-view rooms--and a price. However, based on one of my favorite Disney planning books, The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World, there are some garden-view rooms that give you a chance of seeing those memory-making fireworks!

Rooms on the second and third floors of Tokelau, specifically rooms X901, X913, X939, and X948, can get you a sideways view of the castle. A few first-floor rooms, 1901 to 1913 and 1939 to 1948 may have some landscaping blocking the view, but you can move around a little to catch them.

Remember, room requests aren't guaranteed, and buildings are renovated (which could mean new numbers). But I'm sending some pixie dust your way!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
