    Hi Noell,

As you countdown to your very first magical vacation, I am sure you are getting super excited! You should also really enjoy Mickey's Backyard BBQ. My family did it just this past summer and had a great time.

I always recommend about 45 min to an hour for transportation to insure that you don't feel rushed, because you may have to wait for transportation if it isn't there right as you arrive. To get to to Fort Wilderness from Magic Kingdom, you will take a boat. You catch the boats out the front gates of Magic Kingdom. Look for the signs marked Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge. Be sure you board the boat going to Fort Wilderness. From there you will take about a 5-10 minute ride. Once you have docked, follow the marked paths and signs to Mickey's Backyard BBQ. It is about a 2-3 minute walk up the path. As you can see, you might not need 45 minutes, but it is always safe to allow time for unforeseen circumstances.

Have a knee-slappin' good time with Mickey and his friends,
