    1) are there any ways that you know of to save money on tickets? I am pretty sure we will only be visiting Magic Kingdom and likely only for one day. 2) should I buy tickets in advance? I read that it can be really helpful to do that. 3) Any must sees?

    Hi Jenny!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As a mother of four, I am always on the lookout for a good deal or a way to save money on our vacations. There are some small discounts to be had on multi-day tickets, or vacation packages if you will be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, but there are not usually discounts on single-day tickets.

I do recommend that you purchase your tickets in advance, and have them linked in My Disney Experience. Even if you are only visiting for one day, you can reserve FastPass+ selections. FastPass+ is a complimentary service that allows you to reserve up to three popular attractions in advance with shorter-than-usual waits! For those not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can reserve FastPass+ selection for your day, 30 days in advance.

I recommend you get the most of your day by arriving early. Plan on arriving at least 30 to 45 minutes before park opening to give you time to arrive at the park entrance, and get through security. Head on down Main Street, U.S.A. and get that family photo with Cinderella Castle! Next head to the Castle Forecourt Stage to watch the opening show, then and head straight to your most important attractions! Popular attractions at the Magic Kingdom are Peter Pan's Flight, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Jungle Cruise.

If you would like to eat at a table service restaurant, be sure to make your reservation up to 180 days prior, and popular locations book quickly. Be Our Guest is a great choice for lunch, or dine with friends from the 100 Acre Wood at The Crystal Palace. For the must-do Disney snack, visit Aloha Isle in Adventureland for a Dole Whip, and finish your day with Happily Ever After fireworks spectacular!

I hope this gets you started with your planning, and I hope you'll come back to us with more questions!
